Spiky Thyme (Thymbra Spicata)

Black Thyme, Spiky Thyme (Thymbra spicata):

It is a species common on the Thrace, Mediterranean coast, Aegean, and western and southeastern Anatolia. Due to the high antiseptic effect of carvacrol, it is used as a spice, tea and also used as medicines. The carvacrol ratio is 50-71%. Plant size is 24-43cm, essential oil ratio is between 1-3.4%.
